I had an amazing experience and felt incredibly relaxed at the rooftop pool, which is a fantastic spot to take in sunset views after a day of exploring nearby attractions like Cenote Yax Kin Camping and Dos Aguas Park, both just a short stroll away. it really made my weekend getaway worthwhile.

The bathroom cleanliness leaves much to be desired, especially with unserviced areas and leftover cleaning responsibility on the guest. Additionally, parking is nonexistent, forcing you to rely on street parking with no nearby convenience stores or restaurants.

the deluxe king studio had mold in the bathroom, which I guess adds character? And the hot water was only warm for about two minutes. after spending a fortune, I thought there’d at least be a welcome gift—maybe a coupon for an upgrade? I almost gave this place a good review but just couldn’t with all this nonsense.

Tulum's Lagoon Boutique Hotel is a real gem! My taste buds were treated to divine local cakes, and I found a couple of cool restaurants nearby including Humo for a bite. The rooftop pool, with its stunning sunset view, became my daily sanctuary, and the spacious Deluxe King Studio was perfect for my solo retreat.

On the flip side, it wasn't exactly luxury. The room seemed a bit neglected, with questionable cleanliness and rusty fittings. Security felt shaky too, as I could casually slide the window open from outside. Plus, be ready to travel a stretch for meals, it's a mile to the nearest eatery.

We had a lovely stay. The hotel staff were all really friendly and helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. The rooftop pool was a great spot to unwind after a day out, and we enjoyed sipping beers while watching the sunset. Having a nice, big kitchen meant we could make breakfast and save some cash instead of dining out every meal.

It wasn’t overly cheap, but for the price, it was totally acceptable.
